Description

This watch is also known as: 760.032F

The exquisite precision chronometer No. 93, made by the talented watchmaker Johann Heinrich Seyffert, who in the late eighteenth century established the foundations of precision timekeeping in Saxony, served as the model for the dial design of the RICHARD LANGE TOURBILLON "Pour le Mérite." Natural scientist Alexander von Humboldt, who was particularly appreciative of his work, depended on his watches to compute his location coordinates during his expeditions and to carry out numerous scientific measurements.

The MOVEMENT L072.1 is used by the 760.032.

One-minute tourbillon and fusée-and-chain transmission are two of the most useful complications that improve rate accuracy in this watch. The tourbillon and the movement as a whole can be stopped and set thanks to the unique stop-seconds mechanism.
