Description
The swan song of the UR-103 collection. The UR-103T Mexican Fireleg was one of the last of the 103's to be produced as a limited edition of just 60 watches.
Named after the Mexcian Fireleg Tarantula, with an all-black titanium case created using our AlTiN (aluminium, titanium, nitride) coating, giving a deep black background to the contrasting bright venomous orange luminescent markings.
Sleeker, more aggressive and more dangerous compared to its shinier precious metal siblings. Not often seen on the open market as the Fireleg was very popular on its original launch and many of our collectors see it as a keeper. This rare piece is definitely one for the collection if you missed it the first time around.
The front of the Fireleg is predominantly sapphire crystal as the Tarantula variant was created to open up the case and dial to expose the four orbiting satellites that each carry three-hour markers, which at the start of the hour begin their silent dance across the minute's track from east to west like the movement of the sun.
Flip the UR-103 over to reveal the 'control board' on the case back. Displayed is a 36 hours power reserve indicator, 15-minute and second dials for precise time-setting via the user-adjustable fine-tuning screw.
