The Angelus Chronodate is a genuinely legendary name in watch history, having been introduced in 1942. Angelus could have easily produced an exact replica of this famous model, a 38mm chronograph with a rather retro aesthetic. Rather, they accomplished something far more noteworthy and thrilling: they put the new Chronodate in a sporty 42.5mm case and gave the historically inspired design a good dose of modern influence.
